Direct flight between Chennai and Kunmin

Direct flight services between Kunming, China and Chennai. Kunming which is the capital city of Yunnan provenance in southwestern part of China currently has direct flight services until New Delhi and Mumbai. Now, flight services upto Chennai is likely to begin. The deputy governor of this city had made announcements about the same.
Embassy sources from both the countries claim this to be true. All the three provinces in China including Yunnan, Sichuan and one more province have not seen such vast growth. Hence the Chinese government tries to grow it in several ways.
In India, there are plans to better east cost cities in terms of trades. Accordingly, there are a few Chinese embassies to be opened in Kolkata and Chennai. Likewise, railway services between Yunnan and Thailand are likely to be launched too.
