Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University invites applications for the year 2016-17

Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University has introduced new post graduate courses and diploma courses. Applications for the academic year 2016-2017 are being issued. The University is already offering one-year PG diploma in digital photography and visual communication and the two-year degree course in vocal music, veena, violin, mridangam and bharatanatyam.
This year the University is offering 10 new postgraduate diploma courses in various specialties this academic year. These would be for the duration of one year each. The subjects include videography, audiography, editing, 2D/3D animation and graphics, drawing and painting, clay modeling, sheet metal and metal casting. A diploma in textile and printing, Tanjore painting, interior decoration and herbal beauty care are also to be introduced. Three part-time courses Master’s in Fine Arts will be conducted for a period of three years as weekend programmes.
Applications for the above courses are being issued now.
Those who wish to join M A courses should have a B A degree in the concerned category. Candidates who want to join MFA should possess BFA certificate. Applications can be downloaded from the University’s website www.tnmfau.in
Application cost is Rs 300 for general category and Rs 150 for SC/ST candidates.
The last date for submission of applications is 11th July.
