PSLV C-34 to get launched on 22nd this month

PSLV C-34 is likely to get launched with 20 satellites on 22nd of this month from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. ISRO has plans to launch the satellite from its second launch pad at 09.25 am.
 
This list of 20 satellites is inclusive of 17 satellites from Indonesia, Germany, Canada, and America. Further, Sathyamaba Sat developed by Sathyabama University students and Slayam by Pune Engineering college are also included in this list.
 
The Sathyabama Sat by Sathyabama University students weighs 1.5 kg. The students had been engaged in manufacturing the satellite since November 2009. This involved works by 40 students split into 5 groups. This involved the use of Arcs 1000 IR spectrometer.
 
PSLV C 34 is the 14th rocket to carry advanced motor instruments belonging to XL category. This weighs 320 tonne and is of 44.4m height. This satellite will do the job of capturing the earth and streamline sea transport. This satellite weighs 727.5 kg. This will orbit at 505 k distance from the earth.
 
The satellite comprises of 2 batteries each with 986W power. Its lifetime period is 5 years.
