Special counters for selling text books at DPI premises

Text books are now being sold at special counters set up by TN Textbooks Corporation in DPI premises located at College Road in Chennai. From 21st June, text books for Class 1 to Class plus 2 are being distributed at DPI premises. Since the classes for Plus 1 commenced on Thursday, there was huge crowd at the DPI premises. People have been thronging from Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur. In view of the foregoing additional counter was opened on Thursday.
One of the educational official said that on Thursday 1509 people have purchased the books.
