The college students may apply for getting the educational financial assistance.
The state government of Tamil Nadu has been offering financial assistance through various schemes to the students belonging to BC, MBC studying under the government quota.
The annual income of the students’ parents should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.
The application forms can be obtained from their respective colleges/universities or by downloading from the website: www.tn.gov.in/department/4. They must be filled and submitted along with the Bank savings account number and Aadhar card number.
The Chennai district collector K Govindaraj has informed that for further information, the students have to contact the office of the welfare of the backward and minority community.
