Prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The meteorological centre has informed that there are prospects of rain today (Thursday, 14th July) as a thermal convection has formed.
The meteorological officials informed that it may rain in a few places due to the thermal convection in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Thursday, 14th July.
There may be slight drizzles in the evening or night in Chennai.
They explained the reason for the increase in the intensity of heat in the last few days that as the wind blows from the West, the wind generated on the earth surface has increased and the formation of sea-breeze has lessened. As the earth is parched and dry due to the shortage of rains, the intensity of heat has increased in the last few days.
The meteorological department has informed that there may be rains or rains with thunder in the next 24 hours in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of rain on 16th and 17th July as well.
