225 sites likely to release Kabali are to get disabled

Rajinikanth starrer Kabali directed by Pa. Ranjith is set for release on 22nd July. Producer of the film Dhanu had approached the high court with a petition to prevent online release of the movie. On hearing this, judge Kripakaran has ordered to deactivate illegal websites that release such films online. He also ordered to disable 225 sites that are functional without permission.
On inquiring the director about winning the case, the producer Dhanu said that it was not just a case filed for Kabali, but for the entire world of Tamil cinema. Producers remain panicked and tensed about the release of their movie copies online. They can now heave a sigh and relax. The court has given the right judgment at the right time. I wholeheartedly thank them for it, he said.
