Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair to be conducted from 2nd August

Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair will be conducted at Agurchand Manmull Jain College in Meenambakkam from 2nd August. Various religious leaders will take part in the inaugural event. The fair will showcase the works of various socio-religious institutes across the state.
All the programmers at the Fair are designed to connect high Hindu spiritual values to daily lifestyle by Themes, Samskarams and Symbols.
The curtain raiser for the event Sri Krishna Yogathan was held on 17th July. 11,000 students from 60 schools participated in this event and did yoga exercises.
The fair, instituted in 2009, has been focusing on protecting forests and wildlife, fostering respect for women and girl children, promoting patriotism and instilling reverence for parents and teachers.
