Salem student Sriram has created record in C.A examination with the top score in India. The final results of C.A. examination are now announced. Sriram aging 20 has scored 613 out of 800 and topped the exam. He belongs to Vidhyanagar, Salem. His father is a retired employee of transport department and mother works as a librarian in Perambalur.

On his triumphant victory, Sriram stated that he got prepared to take up CA examination on completing class-12. My father, Krishnan wanted me to succeed in CA exam and hence got voluntary retirement from his job with transportation department. He helped and guided me a lot. My mother is so loving and she used to get me needed books for preparation. I study the lessons then and there.

I have invested a lot of efforts to grab first place in C.A. exam. I feel overwhelmed for having grabbed first place as expected. I do not desire to work anywhere abroad. I want to be with my parents and friends. I need to pursue higher studies. Hence, I will plan my future only after finishing it.

Sriram is the only son to his parents. The second position in C.A. exam goes to a student from Vijayawada and third position is to a Gujarat student. In the C.A. exam that took place in 2015, James John, a student from Chennai scored 595 out of 800 and topped the exam. This year, Sriram from Salem has grabbed the first place and made Tamil Nadu feel proud for having grabbed the first place for the second consecutive time.
