When is the second phase of MBBS and BDS counselling scheduled?

In Tamil Nadu, the first phase of medical counselling got over with 2,383 MBBS seats in 20 government medical colleges and the two ESIC hospitals here and in Coimbatore getting filled up. Only 7 BDS seats in government dental college are remaining.
As of now, 72 MBBS seats in self financing medical colleges and 970 BDS seats in self financing dental colleges are remaining.
Addl. Director of Medical Education/Secretary, Selection Committee has mentioned: The Second Phase counseling which was tentatively scheduled on 18.07.2016 will now be held after the surrender if any of MBBS/BDS seats from the All India Quota and vacancy if any from the allotted candidates in the State Quota. The fresh dates will be announced in due course after the counseling for the All India seats is completed
