Railways to commence radio service in trains

Railways have decided to open radio services in trains. The programmes would include not only music and songs, but also items like comedy, astrology and Railway related information.Other news like accidents or nature’s fury will also be given to the passenger listeners.
A Railway official informed that in the 1st Phase, the radio service would be introduced in 1000 mail and express trains. The radio service would then be gradually introduced in other trains. The final stage of activities is getting completed for commencing the radio service.
The railway radio service would also cover education-oriented programmes and public awareness regarding various issues.
