A special camp organized by Indian Overseas Bank pertaining to create awareness on repayment of weekly loans and collection of loans will happen for the next 13 days. The Camp commenced yesterday (July 31) and will go on till August 12 across the branches of IOB at Otteri, Ashok Nagar, Alwarpettai and many more branches across the cities.
Representing IOB of Otteri Branch, the Branch Manager S. Chezhian kick-started the campaigning and said that around Rs 500 Crore loan is still on pending status to be repaid as weekly loan. In order to recover the loans, special camps have been set across 38 Zones involving more than 1000 branches across Tamil Nadu. For the debtors who feel difficult to repay the loan amounts, special discounts in cut of percentage will be facilitated to make it comfortable for them to repay and they would be recommended for future loans as well. In the same way, special camps were made to recover the education, farmers’ loans and during this around Rs 30 Crore money was collected. The actual aim of this camp is collect at least a mark of Rs 100 Crore.
The camps were held at Mahalakshmi Theater Road, Pudhu Theru and many more places. IOB Zonal head Karthikeyan and Branch Head K.S. Balan were taking part in this event.
