Prior permission of the Government required to contest in University Council

The Tamil Nadu Government has passed an order under GO NO 137 the professors and principals who are working in government colleges, government aided arts and science colleges and educational colleges should get the prior permission of the Tamil Nadu Government before contesting in the University’s syndicate and Council. This was not adhered to so far.
