Applications welcome for scholarship

Applications are welcome from minority vocational training students in Kanchipuram district for getting scholarship.
In a hint about this, the district collector of Kanchipuram district Gajalakshmi released a press release. Here, it is stated that students belonging to Islamic, Christian, Sikh, Parsy, Jain and Buddhism studying in vocational training for the year 2016-17 can now send in applications for scholarship at www.scholarships.gov.in. The last date for applying is 31st October. About 2279 students will be given with the scholarship amount.
Students should have scored minimum of 50 percent score to be eligible for the scholarship. And the annual income for their parents should be not more than 2,50,000. It is mandatory to provide Aadhar card number.
