Applications are invited from candidates who are Indian Citizens to fill up the posts of Draughtsmen - Grade-2 in the Indian Navy.

The vacancies are in various departments including mechanical, electrical and electronics.

There are 192 posts vacant in the mechanical department, 133 in the construction department, and 161 in electrical department for a total of 486 vacant posts.

Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Standard and completed  tradesman ITI course  or 2-year diploma course in the electrical, electronics, construction or mechanical engineering. They must have 3 years experience. Priority will be given to candidates who have completed a course on AutoCAD.

Age limit: Candidates must be in the age group 18-27. A concession of 5 years will be given for SC/St candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Differently-abled candidates also will get age limit concession as per the government rules and regulations.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written test. Written examinations are scheduled to be held in the period 24th – 30th October. Details about the written test will be released later on the website: www.indiannavy.nic.in.
