Karnataka government has requested all the IT firms to change their office work time in order to reduce traffic in Bengaluru. In this city which is considered as the IT city of India, traffic is on the rise. Especially, during peak hours, it takes at least half an hour to cross just one kilometer during peak hours of the day, say motorists, sharing their grievances.
Aiming to reduce such heavy traffic, the district administration in Bengaluru is on a serious note. However, none of these have turned out with positive result. Now, the government has requested all the IT companies, corporate firms, and factories to change their work timings and holiday dates. This suggestion is proposed in a report submitted by the department of police in Bengaluru and transportation department. Ramalinga Reddy has affirmed this information and stated that they are awaiting approval by the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddha Ramaiah in this regard.
