There’s a new buzz in town, everyone around is talking about a running event, opportunity to click selfies with actor Vishal and Arya, Zumba and whatnot. MOP Vaishnav College for Women, celebrating its silver jubilee, is organising a Miniathon—5km/10km run named PennKalviRun, to mark the special occasion. The run aims to promote girl child education and will be flagged off from Island Ground amidst great fanfare.
The event will kick-start with Zumba session headed by Planet 10 where participants will get a chance to shake a leg with popular actors. Cash prizes of - Rs.15,000, Rs.10,000 and Rs.5000 are to be won.
