Single window counseling for post-graduate courses in engineering

Anna University will conduct single window counseling for post-graduate courses in engineering (M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan), management (MBA) and computer applications (MCA) from 10th August to 13th August.
There are nearly 17,000 PG seats in departments of Anna University, affiliated colleges, government engineering colleges and government aided engineering colleges. Admissions will be made based on the GATE and TANCET marks. Initially, GATE candidates will be called for counseling and after this the TANCET candidates will be called for counselling. This year only 7000 have applied for the PG courses and apart from this only 494 GATE candidates have applied.
The number of applicants for post-graduate engineering courses has fallen drastically.
