Hinduja Group Company Gulf Oil has signed on the Indian Cricket team Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MSD) as its Brand Ambassador for Gulf, the internationally renowned brand with heritage of over 100 years. MSD will now be the face of Gulf - one of the fastest growing Lube brands in India and a pioneer in the Long Drain Lubricants space. It is an exclusive association in the lubricant segment and MSD is set to represent the Gulf brand in India as well as in some of Gulf’s Oils markets worldwide.
The two iconic brands are already linked since Gulf is the official team partner of the MSD-led Chennai Super Kings and two TVCs featuring CSK will be shortly on air.
The TVCs will spearhead a multi media campaign planned for various segments and geographies, to amplify Gulf’s brand salience and to meet its ambitious growth plans in the domestic market.

Gulf’s long association with motorsports, especially in the Le Mans 24 hrs endurance race, along with Aston Martin Racing, was another reason that excited Mahendra Singh Dhoni – known for his passion for cars and bikes – to get associated with the Gulf
brand.
