Private candidates can apply for SSLC supplementary examinations from tomorrow

The state Examination Board has announced that the students and private candidates can apply for writing the SSLC supplementary examinations scheduled to be conducted in September and October.

A brief on the press report released by the director of the State Exam Board Vasundhara Devi:

10th Standard supplementary examinations are scheduled to be conducted in September and October. The private candidates can apply for writing the same in the Service Centres of the State Examination Board from 2nd September till 9th September.

The list of district-wise service centres of the Department of the state examination board has been released on the internet on the website: www.dge.tn.gov.in

The examination fee is Rs. 125/-. Including the online application service charge of Rs. 50/-, the total amount of Rs. 175/- can be paid in the service centres.

Blind and deaf candidates are exempted from this fees.

The supplementary examinations can be written only in the specified examination centres as registered in the relevant district service centre.

On completion of online registration, an acceptance receipt will be issued at the service centre to the candidates. The number mentioned in this receipt has to be used for downloading the hall ticket for writing the supplementary examination. So, the candidates have to ensure safe keeping of this acceptance receipt.

If any candidate has failed to apply before the announced dates, these candidates can apply on the special permission scheme online on 16th and 17th September. An announcement about this facility will be released later.
