Shuffle in IAS postings

The TN government has shuffled several IAS officers, including the Transport Secretary, Transport Commissioner and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Commissioner.

According to an order of 24 September, the Transport Secretary, Mohammud Nasimuddin, has been made Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC).
T Prabhakara Rao, till now the CMD of the TIIC, has been posted Principal Secretary, Transport.
S Murugaia, Transport Commissioner, has been transferred Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings (CDP), Chennai.
R Sudalaikannan, Managing Director (MD) of the Tamilnadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board, is the new Transport Commissioner.
P Ekambaram, Member-Secretary, IV State Finance Commission, has been made TWAD Board MD. M Mutia Kalaivanan, HR&CE Commissioner, has been posted MD of the Tamilnadu Warehousing Corporation.
N Mathivanan, Joint Secretary, Agriculture, is posted Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce.
M Vallalar, Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce, has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department.
J Chandrakumar, Director of Backward Classes, is the successor to him in the HR&CE department. A Chittaranajan Mohandoss, Tourism Commissioner and MD, Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC), is the new Project Director (PD) and Member Secretary of the State AIDS Control Society in the place of V. Palanikumar who has been transferred as Handlooms and Textiles Director.
M Malik Feroze Khan, Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles, has been made Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise. Vibhu Nayar, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce and PD (in charge), Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation and Water Resources Management (IAMWARM), will remain as PD, IAMWARM.
Mahesan Kasirajan, Executive Director, Tamilnadu Watershed Development Agency, has been transferred Director of Employment and Training in the place of Santosh K Misra who is the new Tourism Director and TTDC MD.
M Rajendran, CDP, Chennai, has been made Director of Backward Classes. V Shantha is the new CDP, Coimbatore.
