The consulate general of Japan along with the Indo-Cine Appreciation Foundation is all set to conduct a three-day Japanese Film Festival from September 30 to October 2 at the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce Auditorium.
The films to be screened during the festival are Osaka Hamlet, A Midsummer’s Okinawan Dream, Happy Flight and Ballad. Masanori Nakano, Consul General of Japan will inaugurate the festival on September 30, at 6.15pm.
Dr Prateep V Philip, Inspector General of Police will be the chief guest. Lissy Priyadarshan and Sanghavi will light the lamp while S kannan will preside over the event
