ISRO (Indian Space research Organisation) has commenced the 29-hour countdown for the launch of the satellite INSAT-3DR through GSLV rocket for the purpose of weather research.
ISRO had already planned to launch the satellite for the weather research purposes. Accordingly, the satellite is set to be launched at 4.10 PM today (Thursday, 8th September) from the Satish Dhawan Launching centre in Sriharikota in Andhra.
The satellite will be launched through GSLV-F05 rocket. All activities have been completed and the centre is all set for launching the satellite.The usual 29-hour countdown before the launch started yesterday (Wednesday, 7th September) morning at 11.10 AM.
The satellite would furnish enhanced details for conducting the weather research.
