Voters list for local administration election to be released on 17th September

The State Election Commission has informed that the voters` list for the local administration election is set to be released on 17th September.
Tamil Nadu is slated to conduct elections throughout the state for all local administration, including corporations, city administration, and Panchayat administration. The Indian Election Commission had handed over the draft list of voters to the state election commission on 1st September.
The state election commission has been preparing the list of voters for the various local administrations based on the voters` list for the various Legislative Assembly Constituencies.This task is nearing completion. So, the state election commission has now released the time-table for releasing the voters` list.
The draft voter list is expected to be finalized on Monday (12th September)and the list of voters will be released on 17th September.
