A new fee structure is introduced for B.Ed. Course in private colleges. The students will have to pay more as compared to the fees for the last year.
A new fee structure was fixed as per the Justice Balasubramanian Committee recommendations for the 3-year period up to the academic year 2014-15. Now, this is being revised.
The details of the new fee structure:
B. Ed. - Rs. 37500/-
B. A. - B. Ed. (4-year integrated course) - Rs. 22500/-
B. Sc. - B. Ed. (4-year integrated course) - Rs. 25000/-
M. Ed. - Rs. 38000/-.
The above fees are all for 1 academic year.
Prior to 2015, the fees for B. Ed. was Rs. 41500/-. However, at that period, the course was of 1-year duration - so, it was only 1-year payment. Now, the course duration has been changed to 2 years.
So, the candidates who joined B. Ed. Course during 2015-16 have paid Rs. 41500/- in the 1st year. Now, the 2nd year fee is fixed at Rs. 37500/-. This makes for a total of Rs. 79000/- for the 2-year course.
For the candidates who join B. Ed. Course this year, the total for the 2-year course will be Rs. 75000/-.
