No call drops will occur in Reliance Jio

In a recent press release, Reliance Jio has assured that call drops will never occur.

It is quite a common occurrence for the calls to cell phones getting cut especially when the call is made between 2 different cell phone services.

Recent information reveals that over 2 crore call drops occur during a day.

However, Jio confirms that there is no chance of a call drop when there is communication between 2 Jio network users.

Reliance Jio provides HD (High Definition) quality voice service. So, there is no chance of a ‘call drop’ even while travelling in train or bus.

Customers who want to change over to Reliance Jio from their current cell phone service provider avail the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) facility for this change. However, the other cell service companies do not come forward to make this facility.

When some of these customers approached Reliance Jio regarding this, Reliance Jio undertook the responsibility of discussing with the relevant cell service provider and made the transfer possible. However, this cannot be done for a majority of cell users.

Airtel has announced acceptance of MNP applications and has allowed such transfers. Airtel informs that it is transferring over 1000 numbers every day. However, in reality, it seems that it has not processed even a single application for MNP. There is a complaint that Airtel is wantonly blocking and delaying these transfers to Reliance Jio network.
