Reliance Jio 4G sim cards are highly in demand. Reports have said that Reliance Industries Limited, or RIL, will start taking online registration for its free SIM cards to deliver the same to customer’s doorsteps. According to the company’s website, After that the Jio SIM card would be delivered to the applicant’s address in 5-7 days. The service has already been tested and ready to be rolled out in metro cities.
Another reason for the huge demand of Jio SIM card is that all voice calls on the network are free and roaming charges within India has been dropped. In our case, we had to wait in a long queue for quite some time before we could register for Jio SIM. Subscribers are required to submit id proof, address proof, photographs etc at the store only to come and collect the Jio SIM card three weeks later.
