- Once you buy the cylinder, ensure that the rubber tube is found along the inner side of the valve
- Place the cylinder in airy, flat surface. It should be placed erect and not laid down
- Hot or inflammable objects like oil or petrol should not be kept near cylinder
- If you notice any leakage in cylinder, test it using soap water immediately
- On completing your cooking works, switch off the regulator and lock the safety lid that comes attached using nylon thread
- Do not place electric appliances like fridge inside the kitchen, as the varying electric pressure from such devices may lead to gas leakage
- Keep checking the gas tube for any new cracks or damage. It is advisable to change the gas tube for every once in two years
- If you observe any gas leakage, turn off the regulator and burner nobs. Turn off all the switches in the room and all electric devices and finally turn of the main supply at your home
