Airtel digital TV introduces entire Programme Guide in Tamil

Airtel digital TV-the DTH service from Bharti Airtel today announced that its customers can now also have the entire Programme Guide in Tamil. The Airtel digital TV Programme Guide also has 2 other language options namely, English and Hindi.
The initiative makes Airtel digital TV the first ever DTH operator worldwide, to have a complete 3 language Programme Guide. The initiative is part of Airtel digital TV�s endeavour to create greater affinity for brand Airtel by introducing services and features that incorporate customer preferences across genres and regions.
The initiative gives Airtel digital TV customers yet another opportunity to transform their TV viewing experience by having their home entertainment in a language of their choice. Together with the addition of new channels that has taken its Tamil bouquet to 20 channels in Tamil, this initiative provides for a unique advantage for Tamil speaking customers.
The Programme Guide provides an interactive on-screen programme menu of all the content, servicesthat Airtel digital TV has on offer. The option to choose the programme guide language helps a DTH customer to effortlessly navigate between various channels and access value-added services.
