An announcement has been released for the written examination, Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2016 to be conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) for filling up the 5134 posts vacant in India Postal Department.

Age limit: Candidates must be in the age group 19-22 as on 1st January 2017.
Academic qualifications: Candidates must have passed +2 and should have the typing skill to type 35 words in English per minute and 30 words in Hindi per minute.
Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected based on the performance in the online written test, skill and typing tests, and verification of requisite documents.
Online written test centers: Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, and Tirunelveli
Date of the online written test: 7th January 2017 – 5th February 2017.
