As there is too much rush in banks following demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have extended the postpaid bill payment dates by three days. Bharti Airtel is providing three more days for the customers to make payment, and they are also giving out talk time loan to all their prepaid customers for ensuring uninterrupted services.
Coming on to the move taken by Vodafone, the telecom operator has extended the bill payment for their postpaid customers and for the prepaid customers, they offer credit facility, but it is only for the Delhi NCR. In his statement about this, Apporva Mehrotra, the Business Head at Delhi and NCR Vodafone India has stated that Vodafone has extended the bill payment deadline by 3 days so as to help its customers cope with the catastrophe caused by the recent demonetization.
All the prepaid Vodafone customers can get small credits on talk time as well as data thus being confident of staying connected, he added.
For all the prepaid customers who are suffering due to less or no balance, Vodafone is offering small credits both for data as well as talktime. A credit of Rs 10 valid for 7 days can be availed by sending an SMS. This credit will be given at Rs 3 per transaction as the charge and the amount will be adjusted during the next recharge.
