Ambit Capital has estimated that the economic growth for the financial year (2017-18) will be 5.8 percent mainly attributing to the problem of money circulation shortage leading to stagnation in economic growth.

Ambit Capital further observes that the growth in the first half of the current financial year 2016-17 is 6.4 percent. It would reduce in the 2nd half of the financial year by 0.5 percent and the growth in the 2nd half would be 5.9 percent.

The fields which are not systematized will be rectified only by 2019. So, the growth (GDP)  in the financial year 2017-18 would be 5.8 percent. Earlier, this had been estimated at 7.3 percent.

The real estate sector, informal credit sector, and construction sector which depend on hard cash transactions would be severely affected shortly. This would continue for the next few years. However, the establishments which are thoroughly systematized in their operations will benefit during this same period.

There would not be any increase in the stock market either. By next March, Sensex would be 29500 points and in March 2018, it would be 29000 points.
