Facility to issue Digital Life Certificate in E-service Centres

It is planned to issue Digital Life certificates to all pensioners through Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Company.
A brief on the press report recently released by Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV company regarding this:
Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV company has set up 486 government e-service centres so far throughout Tamil Nadu. These e-service centres provide a variety of services to the public issuing various certificates and documents.
Presently, the company’s e-service centre will be provided with the facility to issue Digital Life Certificate to the pensioners from Thursday, 24th November.
The pensioners interested in getting the Digital Life Certificate can visit the nearest e-service centre and show their Aadhar Card and register the Aadhar card number and their fingerprints and submit the details of their pension drawing scheme. Then, Digital Life Certificate will be printed and issued to them.
A fee of Rs. 10/- will be collected for this service.
