Rains expected in Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours

Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that a fresh low pressure is likely to develop in the Bay of Bengal.
In a statement it has mentioned: The trough of low over Southeast Bay of Bengal persists. The system is likely to intensify into a low pressure area during next 24 hours. With this, rainfall activity will increase over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Only after 24 hours we can forecast rains in Tamil Nadu. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned dry weather will prevail.As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city will be 31 degrees and 21 degrees Celsius respectively.
