50 rupee notes and 100 rupee notes will be valid

The central government has announced that people should not believe in rumours and the old 50 rupee notes and 100 rupee notes will be under circulation. After demonetization of Rs 500 and notes, there were rumours that Narendra Modi will ban the existing 100 and 50 rupee notes.
Now that all notes in lower denomination of Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20, Rs 10, Rs 5, Rs 2 and Re 1 and all coins will continue to be valid.
