Chennai Rain update - Rains to start as the bands spins over Chennai

Just see the radar picture of Chennai, we can see very intense bands off Chennai coast. The rains have already started over Mahabalipuram belt and as the cyclone nears Tamil Nadu, these bands will fall over Chennai and as day goes on we can see increase in the rainfall activity over Chennai. Just enjoy these rains, it will be steady rains and will not affect our daily life routine.

Moderate rains starts around delta region as giant killer Wind Shear weakens Cyclone Nada, Its going to be like any other normal day with rains in Chennai and no very heavy rains are expected in Chennai. Please go to work without any fear and take your umbrella / raincoat while going, u will sure need them.
All over Delta and surrounding regions, moderte rains have started and as said it in the previous post, the cyclone was expected to weaken as it nears Tamil Nadu Coast due to the wind shear and indeed the wind shear has weakend the cyclone a lot. However,as day goes there will be some some convection regain there will be steady rains across the coastal and nearby districts.
