New Rs 50 and Rs 20 are printed by RBI

Prime Minister Narendra Modi withdrew the old 500 and 1000 rupee notes on 8th November. In lieu of this new Rs 2000 currencies were put in circulation. New Rs 500 notes are being printed now.
At this juncture, the RBI has announced that it will print new Rs 50 and Rs 20 and will put it in circulation. After this, the old 50 and 20 notes will also be valid. The new notes will have additional security features.
