Soon, it will be 25 hours a day and not just 24

Researchers have been continually involved in analyzing the earth’s rotation and changes in it. Accordingly, one of the recent researches state that a few changes in the earth’s rotation is likely to increase the daily hours by one hour and that it will very soon be 25 hours a day instead of 24 hours a day. In the past 27 centuries, the earth’s rotation is expanded by 2ms, according to what is stated in Britannica Almanac and University of Durham. In about 6.7 million years, this difference of 2ms will convert into one minute.
Accordingly, in 200 million years, the difference in rotation will be 1 hour. This will have its impact in the total hours in a day as 25 hours instead of 24 hours in a day, according to researchers. The reason behind this change is said as changes in the environment.
Increasing air pollution which increases density of air are the primary reasons for this change, say researchers.
