Cyclone Vardah Update - Landfall will be close to Chennai

There is no change in the landfall location. It will be somewhere between Mahabalipuram and Nellore close to Chennai. This is going to be a rain filled cyclone unlike Nada. How heavy the rains are going to be, i am not sure. But winds are confirmed even if it makes landfall at Pulicat or Kelambakkam. Radar have started to pick the intense bands.
Its going to be one of the strongest ever cyclone to come close to chennai but before landfall it weakens a bit.
Fishermen, dont even think of going to sea. Tomorrow, the local Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram people stay away from beach. There will be some storm surge.
