Rain bands starts to move in, steady rains to start from North coastal Chennai and spread over other parts of city. No change in heavy to very heavy rains expected tomorrow nor the winds.

I dont give an alert unless i am so confident. This rains from Vardah cant miss us. It will be steady rains to start with and then as the eye of cyclone moves closer to Chennai, the rain intensity will increase. Tomorrow 1000% there will be heavy rain in the city. And if i am not wrong 100 km/hr winds too.
Cyclone Vardah is a beauty. See the radar, its a pluviophile dream to see once in lifetime cyclone which makes landfall over Chennai with an eye passing over Chennai.
