In its announcement made today, Honda Cars India Ltd has stated that its car rates are set to get increased by 3 percent from next month. This increase in rates is forced to be done as there is increasing pressure of input costs and there are varying exchange rates, says HCIL president and CEO Yoichiro Ueno.
This increase in price will come to effect from the first week of January 2017. The range of produces from Honda includes Honda Brio, Honda Jazz, Honda Amaze, Honda City, Honda Mobilio, Honda CR-V, Honda BR-V and the latest release all-new Honda Accord Hybrid. All these cars are of the range Rs 4.69 lakh and Rs 37 lakh. The other car makers including Nissan, Toyota, Renault, Mercedes-Benz India, Tata Motors, Hyundai Motor India, etc have also announced that they will make a hike in price from January.
