Facebook makes changes to its Nearby Friends

Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet. Now Facebook is making changes to its Nearby Friends feature, removing the map and testing out a new “Wave” option.
Facebook has removed the precise location-sharing feature from Nearby Friends, which now only lets you opt-in to broadcasting your approximate distance from friends and current neighborhood. Finally, Facebook has built a successor to the classic Poke feature called Wave.
