Aadhar Card compulsory for Railways recruitment examinations

The central government has announced that all the candidates applying for the written examination for recruitment in the Railways must submit their Aadhar card details.
The government is gradually increasing the utility level of Aadhar cards by making it necessary for a variety of services. Accordingly, Aadhar card detail is compulsory for writing central government written examinations like JEE, NEET (for medical courses), and CBSE syllabus examinations.
In this sequence, Aadhar card is made compulsory for all the examinations conducted by the Railways for recruitments. So, for the applying for the written tests announced henceforth by the Railways,
Aadhar card numbers must be entered by the applicants.
So, Railways department has advised to seek and get the Aadhar cards immediately.
