Announcement about special buses for Pongal Festival in 1 or 2 days

Officials informed that the the announcement regarding the special buses to be operated for the occasion of Pongal festival will be released in a couple of days.
Bhogi festival will be celebrated on 13th January, Pongal festival on 14th January, Mattu Pongal on 15th January and Kaanum Pongal will be celebrated on 16th January. All the regular trains and buses and special trains have been booked full already.
While enquiring about this to the transport officials, they explained that 12500 special buses were operated last year for Pongal festival. Similar arrangements are being made for this year as well.
The details of the number of special buses and registration centres have been prepared and submitted to the state government.The details will be officially announced in a day or 2.
