Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee had promised that it will release its M series smartphones by end of the last year.
As promised, it has released the most expected Gionee M2017 smartphone. The important aspect is that the phone is powered by massive 7000 mAh battery
The Gionee M2017 phone features a 5.7-inch AMOLED QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. The processor is backed by 6GB LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The phone doesn`t support expandable storage.
The smartphone has a dual-camera setup on the back with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel camera sensors along with an LED flash. On the front it carries an 8-megapixel camera.
Instead of one battery module of 7000mAh, the Gionee M2017 carries two 3500mAh batteries. It also supports Qualcomm`s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner under the display.
The M2017 comes with dual-SIM slot for nano SIMs and supports connectivity options like 4G+, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 Type-C port, WiFi, OTG and GPS and also comes with FM Radio support. Gionee has removed the 3.5mm audio jack from the M2017 phone
The phone measures 155.2 x 77.6 x 10.78 mm and weights 238 grams. The M2017 runs on the Amigo 3.5 UI, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
