10 percent discount on train fare

The Railways have planned a new scheme to offer a discount for the passengers who book their tickets for the available seat/berths after the final list is prepared.
Railways have planned to fill up the vacant berths/seats just before the train is scheduled to start when some of the reservations get cancelled or the berths/seats remain unreserved offering a discount.
Accordingly, for the passengers who book their tickets (berths/seats) for the vacant (unreserved/cancelled) berths/seats after the final list is prepared, there will be a 10 percent discount offered.
These tickets can be booked on the railway counters or even online. However, these tickets will have to be booked 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train.
This scheme has been tested out by implementing on the Rajdhani, Shatabdi, and Duronto Express.
It may be noted that this scheme will be implemented in all the trains in a short period.
