Rains expected in Tamil Nadu

Though there was a deficit of rains in Tamil Nadu during the north east monsoon, now there are some signs of rainfall in Tamil Nadu in the next couple of days. A new trough of low pressure has been formed in the Bay of Bengal, which is presently providing copious showers over Andaman and Nicobar islands.
The Met department here says, the system is very likely to concentrate into a depression in the next 48 hours. There are also chances of Tamilnadu getting good rainfall.
