Here comes an elating news to some category of people who are not included in the non-tax assesses and home industry business that are done at small scale levels. The panel of chief ministers on Tuesday proposed Honourable Prime Minister of India to offer a subsidy amount of Rs 1000 to these classified people to encourage the digital growth. Apart from this, the proposal regarding insurance for digital transactions has been made to ensure people on their cashless panorama. The committee of Chief Ministers included Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu who is heading the committee followed by Maharashtra CM Devendra Patnavis and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivaraj Singh Chauhan.
Apart from offering subsidy to these classified sector of people, it has been cited that handling charges can be utilized for the digital mode of payments for cash transaction above Rs 50,000 and even the eradication of MDR, which means Merchant discount rate has been proposed to, which will ultimately make digital payments prominent than physical cash transaction. Also offering tax incentives to micro-ATMs through the means of Aaadhar Enabled Payment system has been proposed too.
