Plus 2 practicals should be completed before 24th February: Examination Department

Tamil Nadu Examination Department has instructed all the District Educational Officers to conduct the Plus 2 practical examinations before 24th February.
Plus 2 public examinations will be held from 2nd March to 31st March. Nearly 9 lakhs school students and private candidates are writing this examination. In the Plus 2 examinations there will be theory as well as practical examinations for the subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, botany, zoology and vocational courses. Specific marks have been determined for the practical examinations.
Teachers from other schools are being deployed for monitoring practical examinations. As the examinations dates are nearing all the schools are making arrangements for the practical examinations. Plus 2 examinations are held on the same day but the practical examinations are not held throughout the State on the same day. Hence the practical examinations will be held at different dates but at the same time these practicals should be completed within a specific period.
Chief Education Officer Vasundra Devi has mentioned: All the practical, listening and speaking skills should be held from 2nd February to 24th February. . Similarly the practicals for the private candidates should be held from 23rd February to 25th February.
