India ranks the 6th place in the world powerful countries list

A famous American magazine has mentioned that India has ranked the 6th place in the world powerful countries list. The famous American monthly magazine called American Foreign Policy prepared a list of eight great powers for the year 2017.
Based on the research conducted by that magazine, India secured the 6th place. The list is topped by the US, whereas China and Japan are at tie for being on the second spot. Russia (fourth) and Germany (fifth) are the other two countries ahead of India. Iran is ranked seventh and Israel is on the eighth spot.
The magazine while mentioning about the India economic rapid growth said: India is the world’s largest democratic country. India is the second-largest English-speaking population in the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has advanced in technology and economic growth.
